Mary Manoogian, MA, PCC

Mary is an executive and team coach, leveraging over 20 years in the leadership development field. With senior level line and staff management experience, she has a track record of effectively managing sales and business operations teams and leading cross-functional, mission-critical change initiatives. In her previous role as Senior Faculty and Organizational Leadership Practitioner at the Center for Creative Leadership® (CCL), Mary earned positive client feedback for her group facilitation skills, individual and team coaching expertise, clear communication style, and ability to relate to multi-level global audiences. Her candid approach and strong interpersonal skills both challenge and support her coaching clients, elements critical to establishing lasting behavioral change.

Mary delivers executive coaching and customized initiatives for senior executive teams and leaders responsible for driving organizational performance. Her experience draws from work with clients from global industries including energy, consumer products, entertainment, insurance, banking, professional services, healthcare, telecommunications, government, non-profit, chemical manufacturing and more.  Mary is at her best facilitating difficult conversations between team members and among teams in conflict as they strive to become high performing. Her practical approach and interpersonal savvy help clients to more effectively navigate challenges at the executive level.

As a master trainer for CCL’s Better Conversations Everyday™ program, Mary teaches listening and conversation skills to leaders at all organizational levels.  She leads classroom and table coaching engagements for coaching skills programs offered by CCL including Coaching for Greater Effectiveness® and Coaching for Human Resource Professionals®. Mary has extensive experience facilitating assessment feedback initiatives with executives and certifying others on the use of CCL’s assessment portfolio. She is qualified in 4MAT® instructional design techniques, and is certified in AOeC’s Team 360, CCL’s suite of 360 assessments, Hogan assessments®, the FIRO-B®, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI)®, Workplace Big Five Profile™, Lumina Spark™ and  other assessments used to enhance leadership development engagements.

Educational Background & Professional Associations

Mary holds a MA degree in Organizational Psychology and Change Leadership from Columbia University. She is a certified coach having completed an extensive program through the Columbia University Coaching Certification Process (CCCP®). As part of that year-long process, she deepened her individual and team coaching expertise and explored evidence-based research and practice in support of change leaders. Mary holds an International Team Coaching Certificate through the Academy of Executive Coaching Ltd. (AoEC) and is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and Member of the International Coach Federation (ICF®).
